The Bunyoro-Kitara International Convention UK 2025 is set to be a landmark event, bringing together Banyoro from across the world to celebrate their rich heritage, discuss development initiatives, and strengthen unity within the diaspora. Scheduled to take place from 27th to 29th June 2025 in London, this convention will feature cultural showcases, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and entertainment.
This year’s theme focuses on “Preserving Culture, Building Community, and Advancing Development.” The convention will host distinguished speakers, including the Prime Minister (Omuhikirwa) of Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom, who will be the chief guest. His presence underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to engaging with the diaspora and fostering strong ties between Bunyoro and its people worldwide.
The event will also highlight key topics such as economic empowerment, education, investment opportunities in Bunyoro, and the role of the diaspora in the Kingdom’s development. A special focus will be given to youth engagement, sports, and cultural heritage preservation. The Enganda Football Tournament, which has been gaining momentum in Hoima, will also be recognized, celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship within the Banyoro community.
